We borrowed his amp so the MXR team could carefully analyze all the sonic qualities that make it sound so good. After a lot of analysis and A/B testing, our engineers rebuilt the amp from the ground up in the form of a pedal circuit and built it into a single cabinet. The high gain and crunch gain sections each have their own controls, and you can mix them together using the Blend control, just like Green Day did in the studio.
